Just a fun Friday post for you all. While going to Florida was about running the half marathon and getting a medal, it was also about relaxing and having a little bit of fun before the stress of wedding season starts up soon.
Look! Glass running shoe!
The day before the race we spent the day in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!! Now, for those of you who don’t know, I have turned a corner and have completely become obsessed with HP. I thought it was pretty awesome. Butterbeer is seriously the most amazing thing I have ever put in my mouth, I know, that’s what she said. But in all seriousness, whoa, it was really awesome. I would describe the liquid as cream soda and then the amazing foam (OMG the foam!!!!) is like this frothy caramel-y wonderfulness. Ok, now go back and count how many words are not in the dictionary in this paragraph because I feel like all of that was just written in Daniese.
I had 2….
Moving right along, I have a lot of ideas on how to improve HP World and think I will be writing Universal a letter to inform them of these changes that need to be made. First, they need to make Hogwarts Express a ride. Second, they need just let me walk throughout Hogwarts. It doesn’t have to be a fancy pants ride. Third, get someone to be Hagrid! There are no characters! And nothing SNAPE! No SNAPE! Ugh.
The day after the race we tried our sea legs out at Sea World!!! I was still a bit sore and wobbly, hence the sea legs. But honestly, it really only hurt when I was walking down stairs. Damn those hamstrings. Oh and we wore our medals.
We saw Shamu!! And all of her friends! (Speaking of Shamu, did you know the original Shamu died in 1971? Crazy). We pretty much went to all the shows and ate Shamu pretzels! Made out of soft pretzel not whale meat. :-)
Kendra is a funny one….
This is made out of legos!! Crazy!
The day we went to seaworld we also hung out in Downtown Disney and loved, LOVED the food at the Raglan Irish Pub so much we went back the next night too.
And then not even an hour later we made the mistake of eating sundaes. They were seriously deliciously nauseating. I don’t regret it though.Happy Friday!!
