End of the Week Wrap Up

Remember when I used to do these? And then slumped back into my old blogging habits of only blogging when I had photos to post…yeah. I’m going to try again.

__________

8th graders should not travel in large groups and without a 1:1 adult to student ratio. On my flight home from TX, these children, yes children, must have thought they were royalty and requested champagne and margaritas from the flight attendants and threw carrots all over the place. Worse than babies. But I’m sure I will change my mind the next time I fly next to a screaming 2 month old. Although, I will take pity on him/her because shiz – my ears still pop and hurt like hell.

__________

To keep with the flying theme – I booked all my flights for my California trip this summer. I am visiting my step-dad’s twin sister and her husband, going to Laguna, attending a Jasmine Star Workshop in Irvine, exploring San Diego, driving up to LA, flying to Oakland to spend time with the big sis I was with in Kansas City and then fly home. EPIC.

__________

Fun Fact: at any given time in the whole world there are 1.5 million people in the air. Wow.

My little brother is home until next week! Then he will go to Afghanistan.:-(However, he has lightened the mood a bit and informed me and my family that there is a lot of free time to make music videos – as seen here: Telephone Remake
